Kristin and I have gone to three concerts in the past three weeks. We are calling it our summer concert series 2008! First up. . .
JOSHUA RADIN
If you haven't heard his music, I attached a video (not from our concert) for you to enjoy. You really should check him out. He's fantastic! Kristin and I got all dressed up for the night (see picture above). We set out for the show, realized we were starving, stopped for something to eat, ran to the show and then realized that he didn't go on until 10:45p.m. and that I didn't have my ID to get in. So, we headed back home to get it.
(I couldn't keep a straight face, Kristin kept making me laugh too hard!)
It was so hot and muggy and we were stuck on public transportation all night, so by the time we got home we took off our stylish outfits and makeup and Kristin pulled her cute hair back into a more comfortable do. These pictures are of us in our more comfortable looks laughing and having fun with the whole thing. It really was so funny. We got back to the show just in time to see Joshua walk on. It was GREAT and we were so close. We were also so grateful that we changed because the place didn't have the air conditioning on!
COLDPLAY
Next up, Coldplay! That morning I woke up with one of the worst migraines I have ever experienced. I was dieing but was determined not to miss the Coldplay concert that night. So, being completely drugged up and with a completely numb face I went out with Kristin and my two friends Emily and Claire to watch the show.

While the opening act was on Kristin and I walked around and found these awesome Coldplay hats that we just couldn't live without. We both wear them all the time!
Last but certainly not least, Celine Dion! She was so amazing live! Her voice is incredible and she sang every song we wanted her to sing and then some. They ended up filming our concert for a Dvd to be sold later which made the show that much more exciting.
Funniest moments of the night: Looking over to find Kristin crying during the first song and belting out every song she sang!

You are hilarious. I loved Joshua Radin when he was with Ingrid Michaelson. I'm glad the concert spirit inside of you is alive and well!
