One More Time...A success story!

Kaitlyn and I decided after playing in the Lake that we were cold and wanted to try the Hot Springs one more time. This time without crazy boys. We got all ready, drove up there and about turned around when we came across the snake that you see above. We immediately started backing up and waited for the couple behind us to send the guy up to get the snake. The guy walked right past it and never even saw it which was so funny. Us girls couldn't believe he could walk right past because it was so long! The snake eventually slithered off and we continued on our way with Great Success! We got to the top and enjoyed a perfect night at the hot springs. It was so beautiful and the moon was so bright.

However, our way back down the mountain was quite comical! Kaitlyn and I would both slip in the exact same spots and at the exact same time. At one point we both fell and were laughing so hard it took us a few minutes to get back up. I am not even kidding when I say that we fell in a choo choo train type position (think back to elementary school and you'll know what I'm talking about). Then we had a moth attack and I fell again and then Kaitlyn fell right at the end. What made it so much worse was that we had wet backsides because of our swim suits. So we ended up really dirty as well. We made it out alive and really had a great time though. It is definitely something we would do again in a heartbeat!

Kaitlyn and I jumping in the Lake. Getting out was so dang hard. We couldn't believe Kaitlyn made such a graceful exit in this video because before and after when we would try to get out we both ended up looking like beached whales as we kicked and kicked our feet and had to rest with our top halves on the dock and our bottom halves in the water. I'm not sure if I am explaining that right so you can fully picture it but you get the idea right?

Swimmingly good times

I went with Kathy, Tim and Kaitlyn to Lucky Peak yesterday to go boating with some people they work with. We ended up not being able to find them so after a few hours we decided to jump in and have ourselves a good time anyway. Kait and I played off the dock while Tim and Kathy lounged on the dock. It was so much fun and we even got to meet a few cute guys. Even though we never found the people we were suppose to go boating with, or set foot on a boat we still had a blast!

We went to Salem which was so cool. I loved the old grave yard and the whole town was really cute. It's pretty scary to think about how crazy it was to live there when the witch trials were going on.

If anyone has read or seen the Crucible you will remember Sarah Good and John Proctor (Daniel Day Lewis). Well we found the memorial place for them in Salem and we just had to take pictures and be the silly girls that we are loving Daniel Day Lewis.

This is me putting on my best Sad/I can't believe it face for the death of John Proctor. Shelly was my wonderful acting coach and photographer. I'm sure people around us thought we were so dumb but we had fun!

We went to Newport and toured through the mansions which was fantastic. This is me on the back porch of the Vanderbilt mansion.

Haily can't get enough of the cell phones. I am not even kidding she was so funny about them. Every time a camera came out or a phone Hailey would perk right up and start smiling.

Cora was talking to absolutely everything and when we would all talk she would talk right back as if she were a part of the conversation.

This is Newbury street where the greatest shopping happened! It was so fun to sit and watch all the crazy people go by.

On our way home from Newbury street I started taking pictures out the car window to get the skyline of Boston. I rolled down my window and snapped this picture right as this guy road by and stared at me, probably thinking I was a complete idiot for taking picture out of a moving car. Anyway, I looked at it and I absolutely love it. He is the only blurry thing in the picture. Boston was amazing and I had a great time! I think everyone should go out there and enjoy all that Boston has to offer!

I was lucky enough to go to a Red Sox game while I was in Boston! It was so much fun...for sure something that I would love to do again someday. It was super funny though because Kenley and I bought our tickets off of a scalper and the first guy we talked to was hilarious! He kept asking Kenley if he was a "cup". Kenley and I were so confused we had the kid repeat himself like 5 times. I thought maybe he was asking if we were cub fans...like maybe they were playing the cubs or something. Kenley thought he was asking if he had a cup or something. Finally the kid goes, " Yea, you know a police officer... a Cup!" He had such a strong accent that we couldn't understand what he was saying. It was so funny! The game was amazing and the Red Sox totally won!

As you can see our seats were so GREAT!!!

This is Mother Goose's grave. She was burried in Boston...Who knew? Shelly decided that when she dies she wants her grave to say, "Here lyes the body of." ha,ha,ha!

The Make way for Duckling book was written in Boston, so here is a bunch of cute little kids enjoying themselves. It was so funny...the three jumped on in the back and were quacking like ducks the whole time.

BOSTON

Boston was absolutely amazing! I loved every minute of it! Below are a few pictures of our first few days in Boston. I will be posting more pictures later so get ready! Kenley was such a good sport as you can clearly see below. He stayed outside with 2 babies while us three girls went in and toured Paul Revere's house.
We went to a fantastic bakery in Boston and we all got these amazing pastries. Below are a few pictures of the difficulties we had with our delicious treats. (They were just to big to get your mouth around and not get it all over you.)

Kenley got a lobster Tail pastry...look how guilty he looks in this picture. You would think he had just stolen a bite and got caught.

Kristin and I shared this Strawberry and Cream filled Lobster Tail Creme Puff. It was Oh so good and Oh so messy! We had to hold it with two hands as you can see.

We saw a real nun! I mean I have seen nuns before but only in Europe and on TV! I was so excited! (sorry you have to turn your head sideways in order to see it.)

We all took turns holding and playing with the babies so everyone had a chance to get ready before we ran off to our next adventure.

Hailey fit perfectly in the Pod Chair that Cora is not yet big enough to use. After she had her diner we all sat down and had ourselves a bite to eat.
