Love, Love, Love It !

Okay, as I have said before I am not a big reader but MY GOSH I LOVE THESE BOOKS!!! I started reading these about 3 weeks ago and I have finished the first one and am in the middle of the second one. I can't put them down. If you haven't picked the books up you really need to. Believe me, you wont regret it. If you are anything like me you might be a little tired...I can't help but stay up until the early hours of the morning reading. Consider yourselves warned! Now, go out and get these books!

Party Like A Rock Star

Just a little forewarning...The following pictures are not happy pictures, you may feel free to laugh as hard as you want (I sure did) but while taking the pictures I just couldn't bring myself to smile and ruin the mood of the person I had become!



So, here is the story...I was suppose to go out with an old friend from High school the other night. We were suppose to go get diner, so at 5:30 p.m. when I still hadn't heard from him I decided to make the best of my night alone. Now don't be too sad for me, while I was looking forward to seeing my old friend I ended up having a blast by myself! I made myself the greatest diner ever! Cafe Rio style salad (I even had the recipe for their dressing) and corn on the cob. I sat down, enjoyed my dinner and started to watch a little MTV. This show came on called sweet 16, it's normally about spoiled brat children who have these unreal 16th birthday parties. This particular episode was a girl who had cancer who had won a sweet 16 birthday. The theme of her party was "Party Like a Rock Star" so, I watched. At the end of her party one of my favorite bands, My Chemical Romance, came out and sang a few songs. I then remembered that I had promised Shelly that I would Mohawk my hair for her and take pictures and this seamed like the perfect time to do it. My thought process was, "If I am going to Mohawk my hair then I am going to do it right and really get into it!" So, I did a little taping, painting and these are the results!

I was seriously surprised by how easy it was to do. I mean I used a lot of hairspray and some sumo tech but that's it! Like I said, I had to look tough.



Okay, maybe not completely tough!





Next, Taping! I learned this from watching an interview with My Chemical Romance and it worked really well. You tape the top and bottom of your face and then paint in between. I don't think you are suppose to use blue duck tape though...It hurt really bad taking it off. I was laughing and crying all at the same time!

Now, It's time to ROCK!!!

I've got the look, I've got the attitude...I just need the talent and the Fans! (Ha,ha,ha) Maybe in another life! Until then I'm having a blast pretending! I bet my friend was sad he missed out on this night of fun.....Or maybe grateful! (ha,ha,ha)

Oh Utah...How I've Missed You!

This last week I was lucky enough to go to Utah for a wedding and to see some great people! I started off the week on Tuesday in my favorite place...The hair salon! Patrick again did an amazing job and I walked out feeling so much better. I then met up with Kristin and Cora and spent some time out in Heber with Kim and Di! It was so much fun. I couldn't believe how much Cora has grown and how much she is talking!

As you can see...she was happy to see me to! After having breakfast at the greatest place in Utah I dropped Kristin and Cora off at the airport and headed out with my friend Ashlee to start the next thing on the list...the wedding!

After the wedding was over Ashlee and I went back out to Cedar Fort where we lounged around, watched movies, and went swimming. Below are a few pictures of Ashlee, her sister Jenny and Jenny's friends. They were trying to do lifts in the pool.

I then got to spend the end of my little trip with the greatest people ever! Jana, Emily and their dad. They had driven from MN to take Emily to school. I had so much fun with them shopping and just catching up. They are so funny...I laughed till I was sore! I just wish they lived closer!Jana and me after church

Playing in McCall

This past weekend Shelly, James and Hailey came to visit! So we all loaded in the car and went off to McCall! We had such a great time and it was so beautiful out there. Shelly, James and I were lucky enough to go on a trail ride while we were out there and we all really enjoyed playing in the lake and looking at all the fun little shops around town.


This is Shelly and I showing our true emotion about the trail ride upon seeing our trail guide. If you look really close in the second picture you can see him. He really is a true mountain man! He didn't shower or anything! Kind of intimidating!




Shelly and her horse Irish. The trail guide stopped everyone, jumped off his horse and came back with a stick in hand so that Shelly could hit her horse to get him to go. It was so funny to watch Shelly try to hit the horse! She just looked so girly!

It was Hailey's first time at the Lake and she had a blast! The water was cold but it didn't matter to her! She was splashing and yelling and having a great time...

...so great that she wore herself out and fell fast asleep!
