It's a Birthday to Remember!

Shelly and I have been sneaking around and planning this huge surprise for my Dad's birthday this year and the day finally came when we could see it through. What you will watch in the video is me giving my Dad a box that has a picture of Hailey in it and a bag of Jelly Beans (to make it feel like there was actually something in the box) . No one knew that Shelly and Hailey were going to be there except me and Shelly. It was so fun to surprise everyone...even if all the excitement made the babies cry. Happy birthday Dad!

The Girls Together Again

So, on Tuesday Kristin, Shelly, Heather and I all went out to The Big Easy concert house and saw the amazing Brandi Carlile! This is the second time I have seen her and this was so much better then the last show. That is not to say that the last show wasn't good, She was just more energetic and the crowed was better at this show. Her voice is so unique and amazing and I wish I could do the raspy singing voice thing that she has completely mastered. Some of my favorite moments in a concert are when they ask for crowed participation and there was no lack of that at this show. I attached a few videos for your enjoyment. The first video is of her and her band completely unplugged and the other one is of the crowed participation I was telling you all about. Although neither of the videos are from the show last night they are identical to what she did here. Enjoy and get out and see her if she comes close by!
