Having lunch in West Yellowstone

We went to West Yellowstone on Saturday, these pictures are of us having lunch at a cute little restaurant where our good friend Whitney works. The milkshakes and ice cream were GREAT!

Playing at Hebgen Lake

We went out to West Yellowstone on Saturday to play in Hebgen Lake and to take in all the sights! We drove up to Horse Butte Lookout and these fire look out people pointed out to us that it was 07/07/07 and we were at 7,077 feet! How exciting right!

Tara and Ashlee...we were trying to be great photographers and take an artsy picture! I love this one! It reminds me of Pride and Prejudice when she is standing on the ledge and the wind is blowing!

After taking turns changing in the car we all headed down to the lake. These next two pictures are so funny because it looks like Tara and Ashlee are having such a hard time getting down the hill!

We found some Huckleberry soda which didn't taste all that great. We thought it was because they weren't cold enough so we put the bottles in the lake thinking it would make them colder. After doing so we couldn't resist taking silly photos.

Kaitlin and I looking oh so model like! We tried to make it look like an advertisement or something like that. It was so funny! We were trying to be serious but we couldn't stop laughing.

The next few pictures are so funny just because we took so many of them. We kept being like..."Okay, be serious...now smile...now make a funny face!" I really think we all just look a little ticked off in the serious photo. The photos after that are again just us being crazy and taking random photos, so enjoy!

Hoodies and the Wild

West Yellowstone was so much fun, even when it started to pour on us, however we ended up a little chilled. So, we all ran into this little t-shirt shop and got ourselves some super cute hoodies. You would pick a plane hoodie and then you could design it yourself and put whatever you wanted on it. We ended up warm and oh so fashionable! When we got back into Rexburg we decided to rent the Illusionist and attempted to watch it in the back of Ashlee's truck. We had a mattress in the back and everything. We drove clear out to the middle of no where and parked it. We all jumped into the back a little nervous about how dark it was and open. As soon as the movie started the bugs started coming. I tried to shoo them away as soon as they landed on the screen but underestimated the strength of my fingers and ended up smearing them across the screen.(Sorry Ashlee!) Then all of a sudden out of no where this HUGE thing came flying down at us. Some of us thought it was a bat but we were not even sure...it was like nothing I have ever seen before. That was pretty much it for that idea. We couldn't focus on the movie any longer and every noise was bigger and louder and scarier than it should have been. So, we loaded up and headed back into town. We finished the movie back at the apartment half on the grass outside and the other half in the apartment. It was so much fun and everyone loved the movie. So, if you haven't seen it go rent it.

(I jumped into the back seat of the truck with out Tara and Kaitlin knowing, they were in the bed of the truck, we came to a sudden stop and sat there until Kaitlin and Tara got up to see what was going on...I popped up screaming and banging my hands on the back window, startling them both! It was fantastic!)

Okay, this last picture is what my car looked like Yesterday when Kaitlin and I drove back...sick huh! It was so much fun going on the road trip with Kait. We looked like total homeless people and loved every minute of it!

Fun on the 4th of July

So the 4th was a day full of fun and laughter and good times! I hung out with family and friends all day starting with the annual 4th ward breakfast at Stewart's house. We then went bowling, I would have pictures but I forgot my camera. It was so much fun even though I lost horribly to pretty much everyone. What can I say, bowling is just not my strongest game. We then went out and had a great lunch at Cracker Barrel. It was actually really fun to have a table set for 17! My roommate, Estrella and I then went back home and took a really long, really great 4 hour nap. We both totally needed it and were so glad that we took that nap because we were able to enjoy the rest of the night. We went back out to Grandma's house where we enjoyed banana splits and got to play on the Christensen's blow up slide. It was so much fun and so funny! (See the pictures below). The night ended with some great fireworks out at the park. We were sitting right across from where they were shooting them off from, so it felt like they were falling on us. It couldn't have been a better day!
