BULL RIDING

So Last weekend was full of cowboy fun! On Friday night Mom, Dad, Shelly, Hailey, G'ma Nona and Papa Don and I all went out to the PBR (Pro Bull Riding) Competition! It was so much fun to watch these crazy guys jump on the backs of these huge animals and try to stay on for the full 8 seconds. As you can see in the video this poor guy almost had it but was thrown at the last second. The clown was super funny as well. He could do dance moves that I had never even seen before...very entertaining.

Friday night was so much fun that my roommate, my mom and I bought tickets and went back for the Saturday night finals. It was unreal how mean and upset the bulls were on Saturday compared to Friday. There was one guy who got his leg caught on the rope of the bull, another guy got his arm caught and when he finally got it loose the bull rammed him right into the fence...the poor guy broke his ankle. Then there was a bull fighter who got picked up and thrown through the air by one of the bulls. I really have never seen someone get thrown that high in the air before and land and still be okay...but he was...just got the wind knocked out of him. The craziest thing of all was when one of the bulls, who was ticked as ever came running down the arena and jumped the fence sending people in the audience into complete hysterics! The bull ran out where they were serving beer and food with a serious cowboy on a horse and a bunch of bull fighters close behind. The cowboy caught the bull and returned him safely to his home for the night. No one was hurt including the bull who pretty much got dragged across the arena and collapsed from lack of oxygen a few times. It made for one exciting weekend in Idaho!

Girls night out!

Last Thursday was Sheila's birthday, so on Friday a group of us girls went out for a Girls Night Out! We went to diner at PF Chang and then did what we do best...Shopping! It was so much fun. We don't do girls nights near enough. Happy 35th...or is it 36th Sheila!

Cooking Girl!

Okay, so I felt like getting into the spirit of Easter by making some bunny sugar cookies for my mom, my aunts, and my cousin. For those of you who don't know...my Mom, 2 Aunts and a Cousin all work at the same location which made it particularly easy to deliver the cookies. I got a really good sugar cookie recipe from the Internet and got a great frosting recipe from Shelly. I started on Thursday night and before I knew it it was 1:00 a.m.! I had so much fun making them though. It's no wonder Kristin's friend Ellen calls herself the midnight cook...It's so much fun at that time of night. However, I am not sure I could make a habit of cooking this late, I value my sleep way to much.

Oh my gosh, I almost forgot the funniest thing. So my cousin Amanda came over two nights later and we made cupcakes until about 12:00am and when I went to crack open one of the eggs...I found twins!!! The egg had two yokes in it. It was the craziest thing I have ever seen. Amanda thought I was crazy but seriously two yokes in the same egg!
