It's a Girl...and a Boy!

Megan is having a Baby Girl in June and Brea had a Baby Boy in February!

Last night Mom, Lisa and I went to Megan and Brea's baby shower. It was so much fun and of course in true Bourne style the place looked great. I didn't get a picture of the food but it was laid out so beautifully and was delicious as well. There were also little gift bags for everyone that came which is always fun.

Megan looked so cute and it was tons of fun to watch her open all the adorable baby clothes especially when she opened a birthday present for Olivia...Brea's little girl. Everyone had a good laugh at that one seeing how we could all relate to some extent.

Brea showed off Gage, her new little boy and let me tell you, he is gorgeous! I wish I would have gotten a picture of him for you all to see but sadly I didn't even think about it until it was too late. Brea got some really cute stuff as well and her nursery was so fun.

All in all it was a fun evening and was so good to see old friends and share a few laughs while enjoying some great food.

Olivia was all tuckered out from all the partying!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

Last Saturday my friend Rachel and I went on a date. We went down town and had a picnic and walked on the walking path out there. It sounds like fun right...Wrong. Well, that may be a bit too harsh but it wasn't all that great. Rachel has gone out with this guy on like 5 dates and has decided that he is so not the one. So, this date was, I think, suppose to be the big DTR date. You know Define The Relationship. Rachel freaked out as any normal girl would and asked if they could make it a double. That is where I come in with two...yes two (2) dates. We ate KFC on our Picnic, which Rachel and I both don't like...we were polite and ate it anyway. Then we went walking where the boys walked so slow that Rachel, the power walker that she is, was leading the pack by a large distance. Once we realized that the guys were not going to pick up the pace everyone including Rachel slowed with was torture. We stopped and looked at the Ann Frank memorial and noticed that a woman and her two children were locked out of the car. My arm was small enough to fit in the back window that she had left down a crack but I was not tall enough to grab the lock. All of a sudden out of no where...with no warning...one of the guys, Rachel's date to be exact picked me up. I was not ready for it and was so startled that I let out a little Lerma yelp, those of you who know us Lerma's know that we all do it, especially Kristin. I ended up with a huge bruise on my arm where it hit the window. I swear, I should just not date anymore...I seriously don't come back from dates with out being bruised or broken. Anyway, so the date wasn't all that bad you could just tell that all of us would have rather been somewhere else. I think Rachel's guy got the hint though so...MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! Rachel and I then headed over to Carl's Jr. to eat because we were so hungry.

These are the boys...Rachel took this picture just so we could blog it...I know we are crazy...The two on the left are my dates. How funny...does that make me some kind of a pimp? Ha,ha,ha.

Daddy's Favorite Sport!

Okay, so I picked up Dad from the airport and he started to complain about having to sit on a plane for more than seven hours squished between two other people. He was so squished that he just had to get out and stretch a little...So...WE WENT GOLFING! Big surprise that is what Dad wanted to do right! We hit a bucket of balls and as you can see from the pictures, Dad did good and I had a little bit of a hard time hitting the stupid ball. I was so bad that Dad made me unlock my fingers and just grip the club like a baseball bat! It actually made it more fun though because I just smacked the heck out of the ball...or ground... I did better at taking the pictures though :)

As you can see in this sequence...the ball never left the ground. Just look at the sheer determination on my face though...that must be worth something right? The last picture is when I actually did get the ball off the ground...Happy Day!

What a player!

Hailey, Shelly and the Baby Hog!

Okay, so I am really bad at updating this blog lately and I have some really cute pictures of Hailey and Shelly when they came to visit a few weeks ago. It was so much fun and I miss them both sooooo much! I didn't realize until I started putting the pictures up that I am in almost everyone! Even when I was completely sick I still managed to be a baby hog! That or Shelly is just more observant of picture moments than I am.

THE STARE DOWN

SUPERMAN!!!

Moving Day

Okay, so I did it! I moved into my own apartment! I mean I almost did. I have moved almost everything in but am still grabbing the last few things from Mom and Dad's house today.

Dad and I built my great new TV stand last night and it about killed the both of us. It took us a few hours but we did it and it looks fantastic! I love it. I also bought a red tea pot to go on my stove. I have no idea if I will ever use it but I love it. I also got this great table from Craig's list for $150.00! I was thrilled when we got it moved in and it fit perfectly and looked just right for the space. I also have my own fridge to put my beautiful magnets that Shelly made on!

I don't have my couch and chair yet but come Wednesday I will. I am most excited for them because they are RED and beautiful! I will continue working hard and will put up more pictures of it as it comes along. I really think I am going to have to enlist the help of Mom to help me decorate...she has such a great eye for things like that.
